![]() ![]() ![]() Again, this may be a matter of habit as I had a different mouse for many years, but it is something that bothers me at times. This tutorial will show you how to use the following features in Logitech Mouse and Keyboard software (SetPoint): Customizing programmable keys. The mouse lacks accuracy, especially when set to high speed and acceleration, and sometimes when I click on an option, it suddenly does something else (e.g., instead of opening a page in a new tab, it opens it in a new window, which is the option right below when I right-click). Select your mouse from the product drop-down menu at the top left. Click the My Mousetab at the top of the SetPoint Settings window. Start > Programs > Logitech > Mouse and Keyboard > Mouse and Keyboard Settings. Because the mouse wheel has a fast mode, using it as a middle button is somewhat difficult (this may also be a matter of habit). Launch the Logitech SetPoint mouse and keyboard software. The mouse wheel goes into fast mode by pressing the button directly below it (I was used to a mouse where pressing the wheel downwards changed it to fast mode). There are no Greek letters on the keyboard, which doesn't bother me much as I know touch typing, but for others, it will definitely be a problem. The batteries last up to three years (as stated on the official website), which I believe because: 1) in my old wireless keyboard (10 years old), the batteries lasted over six months with heavy use, 2) there is a power-saving mode when not in use, and 3) there are on-off switches on the keyboard and mouse. The keyboard has 2 sets of "feet" so that everyone can adjust it to their preferred height. The keyboard has a small screen that shows the remaining battery and which functions (caps lock, num lock, etc.) are active, which is very useful. The mouse contains many buttons for comfortable and fast work as well as internet browsing. All keyboard shortcuts work perfectly, and there is the ability to program the functions through Logitech's SetPoint I got the keyboard a few days ago, and it has generally left me with a good impression. ![]()
